One of a kind necklace made of small red vinyl disc beads combined with an old silver coin pendant from India. The accent beads on each side include faceted Yemenite silver beads, striped green Venetian watermelon glass and old coral bead. The S-hook clasp and end beads are sterling silver.

Vulcanite “Vinyl” Heishi disc beads are said to be made from vulcanized rubber or recycled phonograph records. Beads such as these were exported to Africa from Europe during the early 1900s for the purpose of trade.
