This one of a kind choker necklace combines 2 fine strands of round skyblue turqouise from Arizona and three gold-plated bar beads, connecting the strands. These beads come from Columbia and are exact replicas of Pre-Columbian beads found in shaft graves and exhibited at the Gold Museum in Bogota, Columbia.

Turquoise and gold is an age old favored combination going back to cultures as varied as the Byzantines, Chinese, Persians , Greeks or Pre-Columbians. Throughout time, turquoise has been prized for its intense blue color and was believed to possess magical, purifying and healing qualities.
