This unique necklace made of black and red vintage African vinyl discs and blue Mali glass beads, features an old Berber pendant from Morocco. The old enameled pendant is framed by old faceted silver beads and caps. The hook clasp is made of sterling silver.

Using age old goldsmith techniques and patterns, this pendant was made from a mix of metals and hand enameled with various colors. The Berbers of Morocco lived in symbiosis with the Jewish population and often collaborated on jewelry designs. Designing the pieces to their own specification and style, they worked with jewish goldsmiths who created the pieces using age old techniques.
