Uniting a modern and ethnic aesthetic, this one of a kind piece combines triangular shaped matte onyx beads with an old Bedouin silver tube bead from Oman, which was originally part of a larger necklace.

Many of the traditional Bedouin designs are common to all the countries of the Arabian Peninsula, but the fine quality of workmanship and purity of the silver distinguishes old Omani silver from those found elsewhere in the Gulf. The principal source of old Omani silver, besides own silver occurrence in Norther Oman, was the Maria Theresia Thaler, a large coin, which was until recently still national currency in Oman. S-hook clasp and end beads are made of sterling silver.
